Responsibilities:

1Long-term / Mid-term strategic planning

   Develop annual Operating Plan, Strategic Plan and Brand Plans 

   Ensure access strategies developed and implemented for Oncology products within market through collaboration with related departments.

   Collaborate with BSM and Global Commercial Team to identify product opportunities for business.

2Achieve continued sales growth of oncology products

   Manage external partnerships to ensure targets are met and to capture new opportunities.

  Build and maintain relationships with key customers (hospital executives, pharmacists, KOLs) in key hospitals, and appropriate government officials, to ensure we understand customer needs and identify opportunities.

   Conduct business reviews with Oncology sales & marketing teams and cross-functional team to ensure right strategies in place, resources being utilized as planned and new opportunities identified.

   Contribute to key decision-making committee as a critical role for operation plan including organization structure, workforce planning, sales performance management and incentive plan, etc.

   Be a Role Model of integrity within the organization and ensure compliance is carried out within the organization.

   Collaborate with other commercial and functional divisions to ensure adequate support to deliver annual objectives.

3Budget management

   Plan, manage and control budget of Oncology BU efficiently.

4People Development

   Develop Oncology BU team members to ensure strategies/targets are well planned and met.

   Develop talent succession pool and lead annual talent review.

   Demonstrate strong leadership and lead Oncology BU leadership team to drive changes.

5Drug Safety Related

    Instruct the staff of the business division to timely and effectively collect the adverse product events/special circumstances they have learned from the reports, carry out necessary follow-up investigations and reports, and convey product safety related information to the medical workers as required by the company, and confirm the implementation results.

   Reviewed the handling plan of serious adverse events or product quality complaints in the business division under my jurisdiction and instructed my subordinates to cooperate with PV&QA department to make relevant responses.

   Organize and implement the measures related to product safety, quality, and risk management of the business division under my jurisdiction, followed up and confirmed the results, summarized, and reported them in a timely manner.

Qualifications

1 Education

    Bachelor’s degree or above, major in medicine or pharmacy preferred.

2 Skills & Capabilities

   Strong background in commercial operations (sales and/or marketing preferred) and Oncology therapeutic area.

   Strong capability on building high performing team; 10 years + preferred.

   Strong leadership and demonstrate capability of Outcome-orientation, Act with Urgency and Enterprise thinking.

   Bi-lingual preferred (Mandarin and English)

3 Experience

    15+ years preferred in MNC Pharma company with oncology experience.

    Experience in finance and budgeting, experience in channel management as a plus

    Experience in leading a large commercial team to achieve/exceed operating plan targets.

    Experience in leading a large organization during times of change. 

    Experience in building brand/marketing programs that are innovative, customer centric and develop market share.
