Purpose

Effectively and efficiently support business strategy to achieve company business objectives through leading company level strategy project to realize company strategy and cultural transformation through project management (PMO).

Responsibilities:

-  Strategic Initiatives and execution

  Investigating and interacting broadly across all areas of an organization and engaging with external stakeholders to develop strategy and make strategic recommendations to senior management on both a “development” and annual cycle basis.

  Lead or participate to develop and deliver new strategic initiatives and activities at conceptual level.

  Engaging, facilitating and influencing at all levels including senior executive level stakeholders, delivering persuasive presentations or briefings.

-  Lead and manage strategic project

•  To define, prioritize and develop project based on the business prioritization.

•  Lead and manage strategic projects, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, assigning team members to various deliverablesworking through transaction contracts and creating solutions to issues identified in negotiations and due diligence 

•  Propose and analyses the SMART measurements including project outcomes, budget, risks and resources allocations.

•  Oversee the development of project and ensure that the team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently while upholding the standard of quality. Ensure project timeline and high-level result quality through cooperating with project member.

•  Build strong partnership with Astellas global and regional functional leaders, establishing cross-functional task force team through appropriate communication with external and internal stake holders as following.

Support to plan mid-long-term strategy.

•  Analyze current market environment, company situation/operation and find/clarify facts, issues and problems.

•  Plan and propose appropriate discussion scheme/implementation plan/checking system/project based on current issues/company strategy to improve company operation. 

•  Identify target opportunities across existing and adjacent business areas and developing relationship with those targets.

 Lead financial and strategic analysis, valuation and due diligence of potential opportunities.

Qualifications:

•  Minimum education requirement: bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as economics, or statistic; MBA degree preferred.

•  Strong communication skills to influence the regional and global key stakeholders and collaborate with partner departments.

•  Strong biz sense and judgement capability to identify the priority performance bottleneck.

•  Result oriented and willingness to take initiatives to challenge the status quo and optimize.

•  Strong analytical skills to drive a wide range of analysis, both independently and with teamwork.

•  Intellectual capacity to drive solutions within the constraints of complex business environment and processes.

•  Ability to navigate through cross-function dynamics and drive influences and impacts.

•  Quick learner and adapt to a rapidly changing industry environment and practices.

•  8+ years in management role of different top MNCs with corporate level project management roles.

•  In-depth & up-to-date knowledge of Project management experience is must, change management with cultural transformation or evolution experience is preferred.

•  Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex analysis into strategic insights and recommendations for sales and marketing.

Overall knowledge and trends within the China Health Care industry, including VBP/NRDL/DRGs, major competitors, market dynamics, drivers of patient, digitalization.
